Fast Prototyping of PCB Circuit Boards (Why is an Expedite Fee Charged)

Fast prototyping of PCB circuit boards, as the name suggests, refers to quickly producing PCB prototypes within the time frame required by the customer. 

The customer only needs to send the prototyping materials to the PCB manufacturer, 

and the factory can produce the prototypes from processing the materials to shipment in about 8 hours (this production speed generally applies to relatively standard PCB boards). For single-sided boards, shipment can be made in about 4 hours, 

for double-sided boards in about 8 hours, and for PCB boards with four or more layers, shipment will take about 24-48 hours. 

However, the process is limited to HASL (Hot Air Solder Leveling) or immersion gold. 

Shenzhen Huashengxin Factory will have dedicated personnel to follow up and handle this. Relatively speaking, the cost of board production will also be higher.

Why is an expedite fee charged for PCB prototyping?

This is relatively easy to understand. If you want to complete the board production quickly within the shortest time,

 that is, expedite the prototyping, our factory will charge an expedite fee accordingly. 

This is because expedite orders are followed up and handled by dedicated personnel to ensure that the boards are produced within the specified time frame. 

If there is no need for expedite production for standard prototyping requests, 

the factory will not charge an additional expedite fee. Therefore, it depends on your specific needs. 

Expedite options include 48-hour expedite and 72-hour expedite. 

If the project is not particularly urgent, we recommend not opting for expedite prototyping. 

Standard prototyping can be completed in about 7 days, which can save some development costs.
